Our theme this year – Courage – Empowered to make a difference.

Courage helps to brace through the challenges.  Courage is required to lend a helping hand to others when they are in need. 

‘Singapore Aging and special needs population resulted in demand for the caregivers. Caregivers require courage to face all the challenges, The “Caring for Caregivers” signify by writing the Chinese Character “Courage”

With the economy now re-opened, we see growth rebounding as activity and mobility recover.  Global financial conditions have improved as inflation pressures started to abate.  The SCCCE Art Festival and President’s Challenge Dinner is our appreciation night for all our contributors. Artworks and cultural performances will be featured during the dinner. Once again, we are pleased to have President Madam Halimah Yacob as our Guest-of-Honour where she will write the Chinese Character Courage

You may also participate in a record-breaking event which was awarded to SCCCE in the Singapore Book of Records for its mass participation since 2013. By writing the Chinese Character(勇), participants partake in making the largest virtual Chinese Calligraphy collage 勇往直前.(Download attached form)

Please submit the Chinese Character (勇) from now until 31 Aug 2023 by fitting into a size of 15cm x 15cm or download our file attached. Please email the Calligraphy character (勇) to: sccce.goldencompass.edu.sg

Minimum donation of S$5 is appreciated, donation of S$100 and more is entitled to 2.5 times of tax exemption of the donation amount.

Terms and Conditions of Table Seat Sales

Please read through the Terms and Conditions of Seat Sales before proceeding with the purchase of seats at the link listed below.

  1. By ordering the seats, vouchers, access grants and packages (“Seats”) in respect of the event, venue, show, performance, screening, webstream, exhibition, conference, transport service, attraction, food and beverage, place of interest, ride, venue access, membership programme, or other product or service relating to the event (“Event”) you agree, on your own behalf and as agent on behalf of all persons for whom you are purchasing Seats or who will be holding Seats purchased by you (you and each such person being a “Ticket Holder”), to be bound by these Terms, SCCCE’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and any other terms and conditions applicable on the third party website or for purposes of your electronic/digital payment online for your Seats. SCCCE shall be entitled, but not obliged, to conduct verification checks, and shall be entitled to rescind the order if such verification checks reveal any fraud or other irregularity in the order. You warrant that you are authorised by all your Ticket Holders, to consent, and hereby consent to, (a) these terms and (b) SCCCE and any related third party’s collection, use, processing and disclosure of all personal data contained in any declaration or form submitted by you and that all such information is true and accurate.
  1. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by SCCCE in its sole discretion. SCCCE reserves the right to accept or reject any order.

Upon confirmation of your order for Seats, no exchange of Seats will be made under any circumstances and Seats are not transferable. The resale of Seats at any price is prohibited. Upon confirmation of your order for Seats, no refund on Seats will be made under any circumstances. All Seats must be collected (where applicable) within the time periods stipulated for your chosen delivery method. No refunds will be made for uncollected Seats.

  1. The Ticket Holder agrees to submit to any search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous, harmful and illegal substances and recording devices.
  1. Ticket Holders must abide by all health and safety requirements as may be specified by the Singapore government, including any directions on preventing the transmission of COVID-19, and all other health advisories and guidelines (“Health Advisories”). These include but are not limited to: the wearing of masks, using Trace Together/Safe-Entry, vaccination and testing protocols, and safe distancing measures. Any Ticket Holder found not adhering to any Health Advisory shall also be denied entry to the Event or asked to leave the venue.
  1. No photography, audio or video recording is allowed during the Event unless otherwise stated by SCCCE. You further agree that you will not record, reproduce, copy, distribute, or disseminate the Event, its materials or part thereof, in any form or by any means without prior written consent from SCCCE, or otherwise infringe any person’s intellectual property rights (including copyrights and trade mark rights).
  1. Ticket Holders agree that you are solely responsible for all content that you make available on or through this site, any chatroom and/or webstream, and you agree not to submit, upload or publish any content that is obscene, infringing, offensive, illegal, inflammatory, or otherwise commit any unlawful act or any act designed to impair the operation and functionality of the Event, this site or in respect of the Ticket sales.
  1. SCCCE reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission or access, or evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the Event by others, or who presents Ticket not directly purchased from SCCCE or authorised points of sale.
  1. The Event program and seating arrangement may vary without prior notice.
  1. SCCCE may use the Ticket Holder’s image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph, picture or publicity material or website, for publicity and promotional purposes, where permitted by applicable laws, without further reference to or consent from the Ticket Holder.
  1. SCCCE may not be operating, managing, producing, promoting or providing the Event for which Seats are sold here. Ticket orders will be redirected to a third party site. These third party sites are not owned, controlled or managed by SCCCE. Consequently, SCCCE does not warrant, endorse, guarantee or assume responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any information, materials, content, terms of use, policies, systems or any other product or service produced or provided by a third party and/or on the third party sites, or for any acts or omissions of such third parties.
  1. SCCCE, its committee and members and any other third party agents shall therefore also not be responsible nor liable for any death, personal injury, loss, damage, incident, accident, omission or any matter arising from the Event or Ticket sales however caused, nor are they liable for any complaints, claims, refunds, or exchange for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, those relating to the Event or cancellation or postponement of the Event.
  1. Each Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the Event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual Event or your presence at the Event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
  1. SCCCE may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the Event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond reasonable control and rescheduling or refund of the Seats for such Event may not be possible. If an Event is postponed or cancelled, a notice shall be placed in the SCCCE website or announced via email blast to SCCCE members. It is impossible to and SCCCE is not obliged to inform individual Ticket Holders in such an instance.
  1. Singapore law shall govern the sale of all Seats and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Donations are welcome and they are opened to all participants, your friends and family members. All contributions are directed to the President’s Challenge Charity 2022 and its beneficiary’s groups.

Here are some examples of how your contribution can impact the lives of many:

  • $20 goes a long way in covering books and school fees for disadvantaged children and helps them stay in school.
  • $50 helps subsidize the medical costs for the less fortunate such as their doctor visits and medication.
  • $100 covers the cost of skills training so those with intellectual disabilities can be less dependent and live better lives.
  • $200 provide dementia care to those with dementia.

Sponsorship options include monetary contribution from corporate and individual, personal donation or gift-in-kind. Contributions over $100 will be eligible for tax deduction. To recognize your generosity, SCCCE platform will offer you a Corporate/Personal Tax Exemption worth 250% of your kind donations.
